Bathroom Vent Fan

Can someone point me in the right direction in getting this fixed.

The on/off button (red button) broke this weekend, wouldn't turn the fan off. I really don't want to have to take the whole unit out and mess with the roof just to replace the on off button. Any help/advice would be appreciated. It's in a 2017 317RLOK.

It might be more worth your while to replace it with a new Fantastic or Maxxair. There are several threads on replacement both with standard fans and with remote control fans. Just us the search in the gold bar at the top of the page or Google. That should get you started.

The one I have in my 2005 allows me to remove the bottom cover; I can access the switch this way. I removed the bottom cover once to clean out all the leaves and other debris that got between the fan and screen.

That fan IMO is worthless! I replaced mine with a MaxxAir. Super easy to do and works way better and is quiet!!

IMHO many people here are very knowledgeable, but are more prone to tell "what's best" according to their opinion and what they would do. Often not answering the question at hand as if they didn't read it.
(sorry just my personal experience here)

I would maybe look for a new switch that can replace the bad one, maybe a toggle? Amazon or EBAY might have something you could use if not the actual switch itself

My fan switch also acts up and seems to have a mind of it's own. I haven't tried replacing it yet but I would try removing those four screws and see if it would drop down allowing access to the fan and switch.
If you try it let me know as I said I still have to do mine.

Did the Hengs Vortex replacement in my last RV. Took about an hour all from the inside and a very good upgrade.

You should be able to remove the indoor portion and access the switch a little better. One that's done, you'll have a better idea about replacing the switch or what else you may need.
