Battey Monitors

I looking for some input or info in regards to battery monitors, I am considering a couple.

Victron BMV-700 Battery Monitor

TriMetric TM-2030-A Battery Monitor

I couldn't insert links, for some reason.

I have 2-208 Ah 6 volt batteries to hook up, and may consider some solar additions next year, anyone using either I'd be interested in hearing about them.

This is the one I bought. Installed it in a small project box with a double pole double throw switch so I could monitor both discharge and charge current. Pretty reasonable at less than $20.

I have the Victron in my van conversion. I haven't used it much as far as amps in/amps out and I don't have solar so not sure what I can tell you except it was easy to install.
