I got a really nice Timber Ridge recliner from Costco. Finally a recliner that is big enough for me. I'm 6'1 and most hit me on the ankles not good. This chair is comfy, can be locked in place and has a table that slides out from underneath.

I bought this same chair in a 2-pack from Costco.com. I've head them for just over a year now and would never have any other. They are fantastic!

My wife and I bought 2 Macabee folding chairs many (10?) years ago. The design has changed a bit since then. I like that these chairs would fit in the pass-through storage or in my truck tool box. They've been very durable and comfortable.

Another vote for Zero Gravity recliners. We bought a pair from Gander Mountain a handful of years ago. We love them.

The zero gravity chairs are probably the best I’ve had too but they are bulky and heavy, making it difficult to store in the trailer.

Beyond the zero gravity chairs, which are the BEST constructed chairs? Seems almost all use plastic riveted joints which fail after a year or two. Usually they get brittle in the sun.

Seems stupid to me that the joints, which need to be the strongest due to stress from the weight and angles, are made of the cheapest material.

I got my two folding Camping chairs from Camping World in 2009 - Nice chairs. They are still in good shape today. I kept losing a nut off of a screw but it was always found laying in the bottom of the zip up tote.

When I got the two chairs they was suppose to come with zip up a tote but were out of stock. I was charged the sale price and they put in my account I was short two totes and was told to check with any Country World and pick them up.

I stopped in another town 200 miles away later on down the road and they had the totes in stock so I got them and of course got a few other items... About a week later I was in a Camping World store and bought something and they said I was due a couple of totes and they had them in stock. I told them I picked up two already but they keep insisting on giving me two more. So I left the store with two more zip up totes hehe... I checked with Camping World a few days later to make sure the totes was not on their books of me being shorted two totes. They finally got the comment removed from my account hehe...

This was several years ago haha...

Asking about the 'Best' always gets lots of opinions. The 'Best' camping chair for us means the most versatile, stowable, & comfortable camping chair.

We have a pair of Lafuma 'Alu Cham' chairs; light weight, folds easily, the mesh seat and back dry quickly, the back reclines, and there is no footrest to get in the way when using them at a table or when getting out of the chair.

The back is tall enough for us, but taller folks may find the back too low for them for napping and, sadly, they do lack a built-in beverage holder.

Another vote for Strongback folding chairs!

Expensive, but by far the longest lasting most comfortable chair in our arsenal. Constantly evicting fellow campers from my chair and you can keep a cup of "juice" in the cup holder without wearing it.

We have had the Strongback for at least ten years.

my favorite is the Trizari High Back light weight folding chair. Nice thigh support and very comfortable high back to relax in. I gauge my camping chair comfort by the ones I can fall asleep in. The Trizari wins every time.

Kuma makes a nice chair. Lazy Bear is what I like. It surrounds your back so no drafts. You're literally "cupped" in the chair.
