So no ability to insure means for me that if it goes missing, I'm out $12k.
I'd rather drop $1k on some security measures that make it a royal PITA to bother with (vandalism or theft).
So what happens if it's sitting at a campground, you go out for the day and someone backs in and steals it? Insured?

How about if it catches on fire in the storage lot?
Or it gets smashed by hail in the storage lot?

In my state, when under tow the trailer is covered by the liability insurance on the tow vehicle.
I would look into a comprehensive policy that may be crafted for when you are traveling and not stored if that is how they will sell it.

1) I'd look at different insurers...
2) Look for a different storage place. This one for instance, is only $143...

Holy crap that's awesome! I am definitely getting one of these. Problem though - will the Trailer Valet XL get in the way of a Weight Distribution Hitch?

Bought the Trailer Valet XL today. Got free shipping. Too bad I missed the 20% off from Xmas 2015.

Thank you so much for that suggestion Sergeum!

Have you had a chance to try it out? I just received mine... packaged really well. I'm off to pick up my trailer on Monday and will be using it for the first time.

Moat.

I'd look for a storage facility that will let you dig a moat around your trailer. Don't forget the alligators for your moat.... oooh and sharks too - sharks are good things to have in a moat. Don't forget that you'll need a drawbridge to get your rig in and out of storage. If that's not good enough, maybe some landmines leading to and from the moat (just make sure you remember where they are for your own safety).

By the time you get through all your security, I hope you'll have time to go camping and get some much needed relaxation done!

Wow... What an awesome product.
Imagine how easy it would be to get into a tight camping site, or if your camping with friends and want your TT to be pulled in forward to face the other site.
