Best Service Experience Ever.

I have had service experiences from __\ before. Not this time. RV shop has new service manager and newer counter people. They still have that waiting list but what a difference. I had to wait weeks to bring it in to verify the repair problems. I brought my unit in that morning and it was back in my pole barn that night. They verified the repairs and now it was up to warranty company. Since the repairs were costly ( over 8k in parts alone) the warranty people wanted to inspect it. They gave a time frame of 5 days. Took unit back to shop and got lucky. It was inspected that day and I took it back to my home. This was all done from initial time in to warranty inspection and approval in 10 days. Parts were then ordered and as soon as they came in ( about 10 days) they called to bring it in. Within a week repairs were completed.
Now the best part. My service adviser called me numerous times to update me on warranty, part ordering, part arrival, repair process etc. I took the time to see the GM and tell him how great of an experience this was and my service advisor was great. This was the biggest turn around in a shop I have ever seen. They have set an example on how it should be. This was 100% improvement from how it was to how this industry should be.

I have mentioned this before, I thought it would be good to start a vendor feedback forum. I am on a forum for air cooled vw's, the samba.com. They have a subforum dedicated to air your experiences, good or bad.
My dealer, Larry's trailer sales, also treated me right. Had me text pics of my warranty issues. They then submitted them to Jayco for approval. They procured the parts and we set an appointment for a Saturday a couple of weeks out. I showed up, they never unhooked me, and was on my way in a couple of hours. I love small town,USA.

It's good to hear positive stories on online forums these days. Most posts are redundant silly questions or bitching and complaining. Good to see a post where someone gives kudos to a company or service. Thanks!

The samba.com is indeed a great forum. I was a mod there years ago, when I owned a Westy.
