Bike Rack For Receive Hitch On Front

After our shake down cruise this weekend I found I really need a front bike rack, and not stick them in the bed of my truck. I have a 2012 Tundra, and have a Curt front receiver on order.

What is the best bike rack that will hold four bikes on the front of my truck in a very secure manner. The bikes range from 28" down to 20". If possible, does anyone make one that is adjustable so I won't need a receiver extender to use it.

We are using Swagman on the front of our 2012 Silverado. It has worked great so far. The bikes do not move. No extender necessary - bikes do not touch the truck. However it only holds 2 bikes. Last winter we used a different style on the front of the 2003 Silverado. It hung the bikes from the handlebars. Capacity - 4 bikes. The dopwnside was the wind caused the bikes to swing back toward the truck. Padding and bungie cords were necessary. I'll try to post pictures.

Thanks, that's a nice setup you have there.

From what I have been reading, on the Tundra the front receiver sits pretty far back under the front, more so than other trucks.

I am considering this model.

Its made to come out farther for a spare tire, so that might get me the clearance I need.

My cousin uses one of these bike hitches on the front of his truck seems to work really good. just remember to put something to keep the tires from spinning help save wear on the bearings
