Black specks in the caulk

When washing my TT today, I noted that along the front where the upper aluminum face of the TT joins the lower aluminum armored plate, the bead of caulk that runs the width of the TT (see pic) has a significant number of black specs. that appear to be embedded in the caulk that will not come out with cleaning (I tried soap/water and also Walmart mean green). If I lightly rub a screwdriver across these black specks, very small flakes occasionally rub off. I am wondering if it's some type of mold since it's a ledge that can collect dirt and water.

Has anyone experienced this? Should I remove this caulk bead and re-apply a new bead?

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

You've guessed correctly - that is most likely mold due to standing water on the ledge. You can try to scrub it with a soapy solution and bleach, or you can re-caulk the area. A high-pressure washer should be able to get it out as well, but I would be concerned with water leaks or other damage utilizing too much water and pressure.

Yesterday, as I was cleaning the rest of the camper, I would spray straight bleach along this edge occasionally. By the time I was done cleaning the rest of the camper, these little black specs almost disappeared. Just little hardly noticeable yellow spots that you can only see when you're close up.
