Black tank flush valve leaking on the interior.

So I have a leak at this interior valve. I've never noticed it before until today. It's also leaking when we flush the toilet a bit. On the road and wondering if it's an easy fix?

That's a vacuum break/backflow preventer. Probably only repair is to replace it.

I'm also just noticing my black tank is acting up. It was reading that it was full so I emptied it and I got some liquid out but not enough so I might have a blockage somewhere. Refilled it and empied it and got an E reading but now showing 2/3 full.

I had an interesting experience with my black tank flush. New camper that sat all winter, hooked up the flush hose and had a huge flood under the TV cabinet. Tore apart the cabinet, dried up the mess, and began looking for places to get a new backflush valve.

Popped the top off of it and found a dead ladybug on top the plunger. Took a screw driver and smashed up the bug, dumped it out, and no more leaking. I wonder how often this happens, but anything on top of the plunger will prevent it from sealing and result in a flood of varying degree.

Is it possible when you put a new valve in to install it to where it is more vertical. I would think that it may rely on gravity a little to help the plunger fall and re-seat.

I am nowhere near an expert on this but it is just a thought.

Figured it all out and wanted to share in case anybody else experience the same issues.
The water source at our cg was so powerful that it was making the inside vacuum valve leak. I tested the preseure coming out by filling a 5 gal bucket in about 10 seconds!
At the Fort today at Disney and tested it by only turning the water valve 1 turn and no leaking.

Glad you figured it out and thanks for letting everyone know.

I admit to a bit of jealously. We spent a couple of weeks at 'The Fort' earlier this year and miss it already.

Are you using a pressure reducing regulator at the Fort's spigot?
