Black Tank Water Spray Inlet

Just a curiosity question on the water sprayer you hook up to for the black tank to clean it when dumping.

1. I’m curious on if it sprays in one particular place or places or if it’s like a spinner that really gets the tank good. Any videos or diagrams etc of it in action to better understand the setup?

2. How much water per minute or other measurement does it add to the tank. Seems like it’s a high pressure sprayer that doesn’t use a lot of water. I could get one of those in-line things that measures water usage but curious if anyone has already measured it.

1. Hard to tell without knowing what sprayer they installed at the factory. It very likely is not a spinning spray.
2. Water pressure depends upon the hose pressure of your attachment. I have no idea how you would measure it other than at the hose connection or I guess you can hook a pressure measurement at the hose bib to see what you are putting into it,

The other suggestion is to Google black tank spray and see if you can find yours because I seriously doubt that anyone has bothered to send a camera down their own to determine what is going on there. Just saying.

There is an easier method. With your toilet water off, hook up the black tank flush, flush the toilet and look down the drain. You will see where it is spraying.

Mine just hits the spot where a "poo pyramid" would develop. There is a pretty strong stream.
