Blown breaker

While travelling this last week, we stopped for the night and began to make supper My wife told me to not use the microwave and the electric skillet at the same time. " Which I immediately did,"
It blew the microwave the TV and all the plugs in the RV.
I spent hours trying to find the breaker or the fuse that was blown or kicked.
We spent the night with no AC and not even a fan.
My wife never mentioned it.
AS a matter of fact, she never mentioned anything all night.
The next morning I searched again and finally decided to take it to a repair man along the way.
WE skipped past Gander and Camping World since we were only on a 3 day trip and it would have taken longer then that to even be seen at one of those places.
Ahead we googled and found a Repair shop.
It was just off the high way I-20 West, and we pulled in.
I found this fellow under a car in the shop and told him how my wife was being unreasonable. Not really. I just told him the problem.
He ask if we had the generator running at the time.
I allowed that yes we did,
He walked straight out to the Motor Home and opened the generator compartment and switched a switch and turned the generator on.
Everything came back to life.
I even seen my lovely wife smile.
He would accept no money for his work and said for us to have a nice day.
This was out side of Oxford Alabama. The shop is Minton Auto, Truck & RV Center. Sonny Minton is the owner and he was the one that did our (repair.)
My wife did and very nice entry on his business on google and all was well again in the 1SG Pete household.

LOL!! There would have been no "sleeping" in my rig until the situation was remedied!!

Loved the story, and glad it had an "amicable" outcome. And hey, look at it this way; you learned something new!

Unhappy wife = unhappy life! When I was reading this, the first thing I thought of was the outside circuit breaker, in this case the one on the generator.

Glad you got it resolved.

AS soon as he reset that breaker, I remembered not too long ago some one having the same problem on the forum and that they had fixed it wit this breaker. I just didn't put this all together. Now I know.

I keep telling my wife that I seem to have that disease where you forget stuff, I just can't remember what it is called.
