BMPro This function is disabled
BMPro - This function is disabled. Re-enable motors via
1. Redundancy switches on the controller.
2. Leveler console, if a compatible leveling system is installed.
So strange one here. I have a 2024 Jayco Eagle 355MBQS. Went on vacation this week. When I woke up this morning, the markers on the left side of my trailer were on, along with the left brake light. All my motors, slides, awnings, etc.. would not work. Got the message stated above. Stratch my head all day. The only thing that would move was the up/down on the front jacks. Doing this caused my middle Jack's to raise 6 inches, and could not get them down. Got more upset all day as I could not figure out what was wrong, but knew it had something to di with those left side lights being on. Pulled tge truck in, and still nothing changed. Auto level not working. Nada. Googled everything. Pressing 1.2.3 Redundancy buttons did nothing.
I gave up. My son started reading manuals, going on line, etc.. after an hour of him looking at stuff, he turned off the security camera switch in the bedroom. After that, the warning lights went away, the motors worked as design. Switch the security camera switch on, get the warning again, no motors, etc...
When we get back, I will need to call Jayco. We've only had the trailer since Feb. Has this happened to anyone else, or any idea what would cause this?
Never happened to us prior to today.

Somehow the Camera feed is going into the lighting circuits and causing it to trip the BmPro Motor lock out. Sounds like something is mis-wired.
The Jaycommand BmPro manual has a brief description on the motor lock out feature.

You sure? Because when I turn the security switch on, it locks out instantly and I cant use any of the 4 slides, 2 awnings, or the jacks.
99.9% sure it has something to do with the button, but thanks for your experience and input.

Application of the brakes will cause every motor to lock out except the up and down on the front legs. Guessing that the brake lights is what triggers this. The back up camera has two power sources, one is the parking lights and the other is via the switch. it can only be one or the other, it can't be both or it would back feed into the lighting circuit which is what it sounds like is happening here. If you pull down the back up camera you will probably find the two power wires are tied together and when you turn on the switch that is what is locking everything out. On ours, it is a purple wire from the switch and I believe it was an orange wire from the parking lights

that response was to the thread about current WIFI issues posted by stinger608...not the original topic of this thread. Did you not see the copied quote and my response?
My first post answered your question and what I suspect is the issue.

Update:
When we were packing up to go home, I got the message again when I pulled my trailer into the truck to leave. I already had my slide-outs in, but I had to disconnect the wire to my truck in order to raise the front legs. I plugged in again and checked all my trailer lights, and everything looked good. No issues on th drive home. Once home, I had to disconnect wire from truck to be able to lower the feet to unhook from the trailer. I was then able to level and pull slide outs. Have not called Jayco yet, but is on my list.

that is a safety feature to disable slides and motors while hooked to the truck.
It's in the BmPro Jaycommand manual.
If the brake wire input to the Jaycommand node was disconnected and capped, that "safety" feature would not longer exist.
On my unit it is labeled as "Brake High Input #64" on the node.

So life is getting in the way lately, and I've been super busy. Yesterday, I.was talking with a truck driver friend about my issue. He said that it might be a good possibility that the left brake light might not be grounded correctly. ( from when only the left side was on at tge campground when we were having the issue.
So today after work, I spent some time on the trailer in my drive way. I did everything I could think of to reproduce the issue, but could not duplicate the results.
I had trailer on battery power, I turned on the security switch, and everything was fine. I plugged in my monitor in the bedroom, and still fine, I could see cameras. No lock out. I then plugged into electricity like I was in the campground. Awning, sludeouts all worked. I then plugged into my truck. Still no lockout. Stepping on the break then caused lockout, just as Rodney27405 and Learjethad said it would. Cleared the error with the button on bmpro. I plugged in the camera into my truck and they worked. I then remembered when we left the house for vacation, my cameras were not working inside my truck. (I like to see backup camera while driving on highway). I thought they got unpaired, so I put monitor in glove box and forgot about it. I unhooked from truck. Turned security button in bedroom on/off, but still could not reproduce the issue like I had at the campground. As well, left side breaklight thing did not happen either. At least if it happens again, I have piece of mind on where to look and how to get past the error. Not sure if I should call Jayco support if the trailer is not doing it, and I cant reproduce the issue. Thank you Rodney27405 & Learjet for your posts and help with this issue. I'll update this thread if it happens again, or if I can reproduce the left brake light issue.

I have exact same trailer but haven’t experienced this issue. I have worked through many strange quirks with the trailer. For example I find times when the BMPro won’t control anything until you hit the first light but which turns on all lights. It seems to wake the unit up and then your good to go. Feel free to bounce problems off me as I expect we will run into a lot of the same issues.

Yeah, I thought all the buttons and whistles were cool, until I started noticing the quirks with the systern. Another strange thing I had happen a few times is I would turn on a light connected to the bmpro, light the light over the island, and it stays on for 6 seconds, and then goes out. Turning on again, and same thing, 6 seconds later it goes out. This has happened on at least three different occasions. I think the fix to get it to stop shutting off was to go to the app on my phone, turn on the light, shut off, and turn it on again. Then it's fine again.

Threads like this have kept me from buying a newer TT.

So another related issue today. Went camping over the weekend. When I hooked up to leave this morning, my right brake blinker did not work.. The running light did but not the brake light, nor thr right side trailer lights blink, but all running lights on the side worked. I figured maybe bad connection, so I unhooked the cable in the bed of truck and plugged back in. Nothing changed. I then noticed a fault message in my truck, 2022 ford f250 that read "Trailer lighting module fault. See manual". We were getting close to 11am, which we had to be out of the park by. Drove down the road to a Walmart parking lot. Unhooked the truck completely and unhitched from trailer. Checked out a few things, then hooked back up, no fault message anymore, and right side blinker worked correctly again. In checking online about the warning in my truck, I found two things come up. One was about a pin in the connecter being bent. I checked plug and truck and all looked fine. Then another thread I read with same symptoms on the tail light said that the issue was a bad led light unit. The guy replaced the entire led brake light, and jt fixed the issue. Even though I can't reproduce either of these issues I've had, I need to call Jayco and find out what needs to be done. I still have trips planned the rest of the year, so I don't want to be without my trailer, but I can't have this being unsafe going down the road (no turn signal issue), as one of our trips is about 7 hour drive. Has anyone delt with Jayco warrnty work? What should I expect when I call? Thank you in advance for any advise.
