Broken chair

Dont stand on dinnette chairs. They break!

I assume you stood on the cushion and broke through as our chairs do not have a solid base under the cushion, only a fibre material- This promotes a softer seat, but obviously a weaker seat- Our intention is to have the seats rebuilt with a plywood base by our local upholsterer- JMHO- DD

Don went through a chair he thought was sturdy. He wound up with a nice scrape running along his shin where the skin came in contact with the splintered wood as he fell through. Ouch!

We don't have that chair in our tt, but thanks for the heads-up for those that do

I have stood on our chairs but on the sides without an incident. We now have a step stool.
