Buying a 2012 Jayco Jay Flight 26BH

Hello!

Well, yesterday I was looking at a water damaged hybrid and today I am buying a solid bunkhouse!

Let me know what you think.

I found a 2012 Jayco Jay Flight 26BH that is clean and has no damage for $11,700. I am hopeful this is a good deal. Looking at comps online I found them from 11,000 to 16,000. Do you think that I did okay?

Since this is our first camper purchase, I am nervous but hopeful that this will provide us years of fun memories.

Thanks for your insight.

Welcome to the forum

This appears to be a good price. We kept our 26BH for two years to decide if we liked camping and finally decided that we did and that our current trailer was a better floorplan for us.

We are a retired couple who thought our grand kids would spend some time with us.
They do, but not very often. So we really don't need a bunkhouse model.

Based upon what we paid for our 23FB two years ago,$ 13,000, I think you are right in the ballpark. Enjoy!

Congradulations on the new rig. Sounds like a fair price, but I wouldn't sweat what you paid for the rig. The definition of a good deal to me, is if I'm happy, and the seller is happy. That's all that matters. If you ever need help with anything on the new rig, you're in the right place.

I wouldn't sell my 2012 26BH for that much! Looks like a pretty good deal to me.

Welcome to a wealth of friendly fellow campers and a boat, er.. camper load, of good experience and training available from fellow members.

Sounds like a great deal, especially from a wet hybrid!

Welcome and congratulations! There are plenty of 26BH (and the very similar 264BH) owners here that can answer any questions you have so don't hesitate to ask if you need anything.

Thank you for all of your replies. I am dropping off the van tonight and picking everything up on Friday. Our first trip is to Bethany Beach, DE over the 4th of July. I have a lot to learn between now and then!

I usually take the jump in head-first into the deep and figure out how to swim later approach.
