Just checked your posts, some good info about Colorado. We are staying at Cherry Creek SP in July visiting son, DIL, & grandson. They live in Parker, so we can almost walk or bike to their House. Liked your Pros & Cons listing. We have reservations for Campsite #24. You listed sites # 29 , 31, 33, & 35 as recommended. Any issues with site # 24?

Planning on many day trips.

Thanks

24 is a very nice site - trees, and off by itself, on the outside of the loop. I think it may back up against the small amphitheater. Lots of privacy at that site.

Full hookups

Be sure to visit red rocks, garden of the gods and any mountain towns, like Idaho springs. Your family will guide you.

Also remember that Colorado ( Denver ) is at 5280 feet - so take the first day or so easy to acclimate to the lower O2 levels here. Lots of water the first few days.

I'm excite to have you come see our beautiful state

Canon city is beautiful, spent a week up there this past December with work, I would love to come back there with my fly rod and trailer for another week
