I wouldn't count on that!! It was fun but it really did become a "job", at least at the campground we were at. They really should have 4 hosts for the size and number of sites and people but only have 2 and it keep 'em running 10 hrs a day 7 days a week. If we do it again we'll pick a smaller CG out west.

Welcome back Pete! Missed ya!

Sorry to hear that you will have to actually have the shoulder surgery. Sounds like there were definitely folks/experiences that you could plug into this thread! I can see why you would want to move to MH. Less hook-up worries while recovering? I see your love for traveling. Don't abandon it completely.

I can say that most of our camping is in "membership" reciprocal cg's. There are rules in place that can evict the kind of ignorant, histrionic/asinine, partying, etc that you may unfortunately see in state parks or public campgrounds; they can lose rights/memberships over rule infractions. Rules suck, but so far we appreciate them. Fortunately, our major complaints so far are other members who don't poopy-police their dogs. We haven't experienced the drunk parties, lights after 9pm, or kids on the loose after curfue. BUT... we still will get those folks that stroll through our little piece of real estate as a short cut to the showers or lake! (one almost scratched the side of our truck with a pole he was carrying!).

Hope you are able to recover from surgery, get the MH, get back to camping, and have the unfortunate ability to add to this thread

Another thing that erks me, every once in a while someone will hit their key fob and the car alarm goes off at 5:00am.

There's been car alarms going off here like fire-crackers on the 4th of July !
The resort is full this weekend. Lots of kids, pets, but things for the most part are relatively calm.

The weather is "perfect" and camp fires are dotting the area like fire-flies. These are the times where everything seems to be in harmony.

There really is something about RVing .....
