Camper return
I bought a camper this summer. Brand new 2019 Jayco. I got it home and when I went to furnish it with sheets, blankets, dishes and such I pulled the extended the bump out to put some fresh linen on only to find a terrible amount of warping, a ruined the new mattress and a water logged mess! Upon further inspection we found a warped spot under the the right side window and tape peeling off the roof. Purchased it in June and didn’t get to take it out once! They had to send it back to Indiana and we didn’t get it back til late December/ beginning of January. Do I have a leg to stand on if I want to return it? I purchase new so I don’t have to deal with these problems and my entire 2019 camping season was ruined!

Jayco and / or the dealer may come through for you by asking but I don't think so.

Sorry to hear about the problem with your camper. Hate to say it but I doubt neither Jayco nor your dealer will take it back. Assuming the factory correctly fixed the problem I'd go ahead and set it up in your driveway during some rain if you can to see if it is actually fixed. Remember Jayco does had a 2 year warranty. If the problem continues I'd skip the dealer and call Jayco directly.

Hoo boy...I feel for ya. And I've been there too, with a $120k sailboat I bought in 2007 that the maker wouldn't stand behind. Took a $40k loss on that deal.
No, they're not going to swap for a new one. They got you, and there's nothing you can do but hope that the people who screwed it up in the first place will get it right this time.
In their minds, there's no reason for them to do it. No amount of bad-mouthing you might do could possibly be noticed amongst all the negative feedback already out there. You have to take the idea of a conscience out of the equation.

Did the dealer not do a PDI and walk through with you? Never should have been delivered in this condition.

You should talk to the dealership and ask them what they will do first. If they will not help you, then call Jayco and ask them to help you because you do have a 2 year warranty, and have them fix it so it is like brand new since you did not have it most of the winter and it should not be that way at all.

If they fixed it properly you should be good to go now.

They did fix it, but it was gone for six months after I purchased it. Every time I see it, it reminds me of how it ruined my summer.

I would think the time to put leverage on them was during that June to December time frame, when it was being repaired. Then you got it back in the beginning of January, and now, the end of March, you want them to take it back? I don't think there would be much of a leg to stand on, based on that, considering they fixed the issue under warranty.
I think, the time to fight was during the down time and repair time.

Not sure what you’re seeking. If it’s compensation for the lost camping months, the time to ask for that was when it was off for repairs. Perhaps they would have given you a loaner for the summer. If it’s monetary compensation, I’m with the others — they repaired it as required. But I wouldn’t wait for a rainstorm to test it. Get out the sprinkler and/or garden house and spray the heck out of it. Then check every nook and cranny. If it still leaks, THEN push for them to take it back. Good luck!

It's probably past time to just trade this off for another brand from another dealer . You have too much negative emotion in this rv to ever enjoy it. And I fully understand where your at. I just went thru this similar Bravo Sierra with a car the dealer couldn't fix. I had it one day and traded the car for a different brand and that fixed ME.
Bruce Williams used to allways say on his radio talk show, " don't love nuthin that won't love you back " .

Seriously it sucks that you lost 3 months of camping. Reality, sell it to make yourself feel better or get over it.. All of us take the chance that a brand new camper is going to have issues, some minor and some major, and blow a camping season to smithereens. Roll with it, and get back in the game or move on.

Is it called Buyer's Remorse? Either keep it or sell it, and move on.

They had it for six months!?!? It didn't take six days to build it in the first place. Abundantly clear what they think of their customers. Should've been at the head of the line. Oh, wait, it was in the line of units they were fixing that had issues that were bad enough that they couldn't be fixed at the dealer. Sorry, but I can't help but be cynical about this stuff.

Missed the opportunity when it surpassed the 21 day mark and you didn't request action, in writing to Jayco, under the Magnuson Moss Warranty Act. Since it is repaired there is no longer an outstanding action.
Also, why wasn't the problem identified during the PDI, or did the unit leave the dealers lot sold without an adequate PDI?

In my opinion the time to have taken whatever action has passed. I would suggest you put it behind you and look forward to the next season. Chalk it up to lessons learned and do a thorough PDI next purchase.
