Finally got a text from Tampa CW. They said all is fixed but the roof and they patched where nails r pushing thru until it can be replaced late next year. I will make sure tomorrow that Jayco is aware of roof issue and will be replaced in the future. Also noticed last week my ladder was bent in on right side. Not a mark on it and looks like the thin metal twisted inward. On the FBTS the back cap with window will not let a mid support be installed. Appears Jayco needs to install a better made ladder or mine was defective. I will post after my pickup late tomorrow.

Well got FW back (three months). Picked up Saturday and was washed and clean. Closed on house sale and moved to site yesterday. Roof has temporary patches, new kitchen faucet leaks, slide awning cover still loose, main awning material was moved to realign forward arm closure. Now major wrinkles in the hard part of fabric and front arm is way out of alignment and stop two inches from closing. Rear axle has again moved to the left hitting inside of slide. New couch was only ordered two weeks ago and has not arrived. But the pantry closet door knob now works. Also two new batteries were installed old ones ran down dead to half volt. New computer for generator and water heater propane side appears fixed. All in only three months. Happy Freaking Turkey Day

Hi Rock- sorry to hear of all your trouble. I guess we expect way too much quality wise for the money we have spent. At least you closed on the house and can start on the new one! Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours! Fingerlakes

Update: I brought my TT in for warranty work last Saturday 11/19 at 9:30 am with the understanding that they (CW) will go over the list I provided & they will contact jayco & have me pick up TT either Monday or Tuesday (11/21-22) CW said I should return with the TT when the parts come in. I called on Saturday (1 week now) & was told that Jayco has not gotten back to them yet. I said should I pick up the TT or do you guys need to still keep it? I got no intelligible response at that point & was told that I would get a call on Monday . It is now Tuesday night & no one called. I will call tomorrow to find out what is up & also ask if the battery was placed on a trickle charger.

I would be surprised and amazed if anyone put a trickle charger on it. They will say that is the owners responsibility.

Don't forget to have a clear understanding of who is to winterize if it is left with them for repairs.

Like when I brought mine in they made sure I used the disconnect so batteries would not die. During its three month stay the three times I went there batteries were totally dead and battery disconnect left on. Made them install two ones when I picked it up.

Rock's Quote, "They said all is fixed but the roof and they patched where nails r pushing thru until it can be replaced late next year." Yep, that's the same I was told, all is fixed. Since I got a new service advisor a couple weeks before pickup (May -Nov) guess they missed a lot on the list. Back to square one, they took pictures again and resubmitting to Jayco. Looks like before this is repaired they'll have possession longer than me.

Ya right. Jayco customer service is great I e mailed and they got back in an hour. Roof was documented by Camping World. But since they said axle was fine normal movement BS. and fixed awning nothing was submitted to Jayco. I have tried to get Camping World to respond with no luck. It is almost like they want me to go there a put a gun to there head to make them do anything. Unless CW puts in a request for a mobile repair guy to come and fix or figure out axle and awning I am screwed until late summer. So I now have two choices, do nothing or go to CW grap service manager by neck and have swat team show up. So here is another pole. Option one. Do nothing. Option two go for the gusto. Which would u do these morons need a class action.

Well- As for myself- I'd probably go in and grab the service mgr. by the throat. I've been known to get a little "postal" at times when dealing with idiots. But remember- you can't fix stupid!!! How about filing a complaint with the Fla. Attorney General's Office? Do you think they would help?

I have been emailing CW and Coping Jayco. I have done this three times since last week and Jayco replies every time. Jayco is aware CW will not reply so hopefully soon Jayco will take action on there own.

I just do not understand why they are this way. Several guys from my base bought there. They kissed there butt for the sale but service is horrible. We just Rd started using the washer and it is hooked up backwards. When I looked behind it all the crap from cutting the vent hole and pieces of wood are still there. No clean up still all there

Also paperwork for approval not submitted to Jayco yet. 16 days should have been enough time Ya think! Anyway I picked TT up & parked it , Battery on trickle charger. I will need to wait for answers. Interesting industry. I wonder how anyone stays in this business.

Have you tried General RV in Tampa? I bought mine in Michigan and had it serviced in Illinois ..so far its good....I had a dealer as well though that said if you didn't buy it here were not servicing it!
Also we just got back from a visit to Middlebury Indiana at Jayco and they have a service center right there as well on the grounds..not convenient Im sure but if it's major it could be an option..
Good Luck :-)

Haven't tried anyone else as this is my first round with a TT & repairs. I am lucky that there was nothing major. I can still use the TT just no awning & need a lighter for the stove top to work, all other issues can wait.

I am to old now. But any of u guys in late 20 or 30 should give thought to open just an RV repair facility. Bet u make a fortune. It seems RV dealers require no skills an IQs of two to fix our stuff. All the good techs keep leaving because management sucks. I was told by the one good tech I worked with (not at CW) that they hire what ever to fix stuff and he has to tell them how. This would be a gold mine. All u have to do is come in and if parts needed that are not readily available send them home parts come in fix it. And call people an tell them the TRUTH. Not BS that all is good or return calls a month later. RV just repairs is where the money is.

Good idea! RV only repairs especially if mobile would be in great demand.
