Can't wait untill spring
Hello All, I park my trailer in a friends yard for the winter. I am missing it. I can't wait to get it home to start another trailering year. Its been a cold winter for us in eastern Canada. I will bring it home the first of April to prepare it for this years season.
Anyone feeling the same?

Same here firefighter,
Mines in cold storage.
I have to get it out April 1, get it loaded and camp local before we head West for 73 days.
I look at the pictures occasionally just to make me feel better. Never got to camp in it yet at all.
I purchased it last October, serviced it and went to cold storage.

I, too, suffer from camper withdrawal! Have been poring over the Milepost, maps, books, pamphlets, and web sites as we plan our summer trip through Canada and on to Alaska. Although this helps pass the time, I long for the temps to rise, the snow to melt, and the coming of the new camping season!

I'd love those temperatures. Some people up here say they love the four seasons, Personally i love three of them but have no use for winter except for maybe one week at christmas.

Nova Scotia is WARM! It was a tropical -16 oF this morning!
Last night we were discussing when we want to pull the TT out of cold storage (farmer’s pull barn).

Who can afford to camp all year and how much vacation time do you get at work? I don't know how some of you in warmer climates do it. For me winter is kind of bitter sweet, I can save money and vacation days to camp the other 6 months of the year

The camping in Texas is very cheap. Average price in a state park is between 20.00 and 30.00 dollars. I have 6 weeks of vacation so during fall and spring we hit the state parks. Then we set up the camper on a seasonal site late april at a marina were we keep our pontoon boat. It is quite cheap also full hook ups for only 225 a month. We spend friday thru sunday there. Happy camping

Nice! That is cheap for seasonal. State parks are similar in price here. I thought it might be the gas that could make it unaffordable to travel each weekend. How much is your gas now? How far do you travel on average?

Gas jumped up 15 cents overnight. Its now 3:25 most of the parks we vist are within 2 hours of home with the closest one being 30 minutes away. On average about a tank( 32 gal) to and from with short trips inside the park( the kids love riding around at night looking for wildlife) lol

You betcha, firefighter ! I have been out to the trailer several times lately, just to look and try to get back in the groove. Have also made a list of things to do to get it ready as soon as weather warms up. Have a big Rally weekend already reserved and paid for April 26-28th at Andy Guest SP here in Virginia. Can hardly wait. Come on, SPRINGGGGGGG !!!

Our TT is only 50ft from the house, but I decided to put a cover on it this winter. The down side of the cover is i can't go out and mess around in the trailer anytime I want without getting a step ladder out, unstrapping and unzipping just to get to the door. I miss being able to just walk the 50ft and open the door anytime I wanted. There is a price to pay for everything.

Wow, lots of great replys, Well this weekend gave us a 30 cm dump of snow, (for my American friends that is 12 inches) and I hear more to come the end of the week. I would keep my trailer in my driveway but I don't have the room to get the snowblower between the house and the trailer. If it was home, I am sure I would be out in it everyday.
Thanks for all the replys,
Paul

Well, we may see up to 50 cm (around 2 feet) with a Blizzard Warning this weekend, so i guess its a stay in the house, keep the fireplace burning and only dream about the long weekend in May.
