Carpet has to go

I have a 2010 29rls and want to remove the carpet out of everything but the bedroom. Have a german shepherd just can’t keep up with her shedding. My mine concern is I want to go with an engineered hardwood but worried about the slide. Any help with materials would be great.

I went with a vinyl plank product available at Lowe's. Should not use anything that cannot withstand high humidity and extreme temp swings.
