Cedar Point Sandusky OH

Next week we are taking our boys to Cedar Point for a 3 day visit. We will also be camping there for the first time as well. I am interested in the best route (TT friendly) to take - we are traveling from Michigan. I am planning to take the turnpike but would like to know the best exit to take. I'd there is a better option let me know. Thanks.

Whenever we drive to Sandusky, I avoid the turnpike. I take 579 to 2 and take that all the way in. It's a few minutes longer but a lot calmer than the turnpike. As a kid, I always remember driving past the big nuclear plant along the way, and that's still kind of a thrill to me.
