I notice when a question about cell phones comes up the majority of responses are Verison. Does anyone have US Cellular and get coverage in the western half of the country.

I have heard little to none about that company out here.

If you have US. cellular you'll likely be on roaming partner networks out west. This will typically be very low tput speeds and may be limited data.

My brother had US Cellular in Wisconsin. I think they're more a Midwestern regional thing. Bear in mind - they are NOT a MVNO, the run their own network.



When we travel out here, ATT still has the most coverage. VZ is second and T-Mobile a distant third. We'll find plenty of areas where VZ drops out but ATT is still alive. Usually, if ATT isn't connecting, then nothing will.
