Changed camping style

Web always set up our trailer for 5 to 6 day stays and keep traveling. due to covid we now stay for a month at a time in Florida. Staying for a month at a time is relaxing and we find out about more things in the area. We have now adjusted our camping lifestyle.

We will never know. Why? Doesn't make any difference.

Closing them was usually because of the local health departments not fully understanding the nature of camping. Some states outright forced them closed, but in WI the SPs were only closed for a few months until they came up with a plan. Most of the counties that closed the private facilities also realized it didn't make sense. In the county we frequent the most, the CG owners got together and made an agreed upon plan to keep public bathrooms and common areas closed, as well as offices where they could. The county approved it just before the season started. We didn't miss any camping in 2020, just some activities were not available to us.

Because campers would be having fun. And we can't have that.

In Texas they closed off every other site or something like that. Someone must’ve misread the CDC 6’ guideline and added a 0. Actually I think it was partially due to not having staff to handle a full campground.

A month is a long time in one spot, but I can see the advantage of getting to know the area and people that way. After 3 or 4 nights, I’m usually ready to roll again.
