We are thinking of getting a Jayco Eagle 24re fifth wheel. Towing with our 3/4 ton pickup. We found out you cannot get a cushioned pinbox on it. Chucking motion is really bad for my DW neck. (Due to a bad car accident she was in.) So does anyone have experience towing with a Curt Turning Póint pinbox? Did you get a lot of chucking motion?
I can't answer your question. I have a 20k Reese Sidewinder pinbox mated to a Hensley "Trailersaver" BD3 hitch. The Hensley hitch absorbs most of the chucking.
I have a 29.5 BHDS with the turning point pinbox. My truck is also a 3/4 truck and I have a pullrite auto slider. The only time I experienced chucking was improper weight distribution in the front and rear basement.
You can also check your hitch manual and see if any adjustments are needed.
