Having issues with new RV. Been in shop 3 months. Jayco not responding. Is there a number to get help?

Been in shop 3 months, can’t get parts we are told. In contact with head of Camping world too, says same. New RV has been at shop more than with us. RV keeps having exact same issues once repaired. Each repair prior at least 2 to 3 weeks in shop. This time 3months. Thoughts?

Parts shortage is a way of life right now. One suggestion is to see if Jayco will reimburse you if you find one that is same spec and will if effect our overall warranty. Jayco’s supplier lead time may be way out there but there are other suppliers you can check.

What RPR said and another out is a mobile repair shop and a call to Jayco to see if they will reimburse with that route. Worst case is you may pay for the service call if the do but at least you are back on the road.



Camping World does not have the best reputation so if it were me I would be searching for other alternatives.

Sounds like you have a dealer problem if the same issue reappears...

JAYCO does not stock parts, they order based on need so they probably don't have any either. The converter doesn't have to come from JAYCO direct the dealer can get it from the manufacturer if it's available since that who covers the warranty to begin with. So they can go directly to PROGRESSIVE INDUSTRIES or whomever makes the Power Panel.

CONSULT THE WRITTEN LIMITED WARRANTY PROVIDED BY EACH SUPPLIER WHICH CAN BE FOUND IN THE COMPONENT SUPPLIER OWNER’S MANUAL INCLUDED WITH YOUR RECREATIONAL VEHICLE OR ON THE SUPPLIER(S) WEBSITE.
