Cleaner for aluminum trailer and awning

Anyone that can suggest from experience a cleaner to use to remove black streaks. I have the aluminum siding style jayco g2.

Dollar Tree Awesome by far the best at removing black streaks.

Never heard of Awesome, may have to give it q shot.
I've always had good luck with the Black Streak Recover at Wal-Mart

While you can't beat that price for Awesome, someone told me about using house siding cleaner for aluminum sided campers. I can't say which brand which I guess depends on what is close to you if you can't find Awesome.

I have fiberglass sides so I just use car wash and some spot treatment with Simple Green when I need to get of a streak or two.

If you have a Dollar Tree nearby Awesome is $1 but I have heard others have found it elsewhere. Awesome is also awesome on a lot of other things as well so it's well worth picking up a bottle even if you decide it's not the best for black streaks.

My last camper was aluminum, and I would hit the heavy black streaks with straight awesome (in the spray bottle not the orange awesome) then just wipe them away, simple as that. Then I would cut the awesome with water and get the rest of the streaks followed by a good carwash with wax. Camper looked NEW even after 5 years.

One final edit. I haven't heard of anyone using it on a roof and honestly I wouldn't. For the roof I use Spic 'n Span and if it's not 100% clean, too bad. In my opinion, I'd rather have a roof with stains than a roof with it's protecting properties compromised.

I have used Awesome on the roof. It works OK. Clorox Cleanup works better on the roof. Wear old clothes, the bleach will ruin any fabric with color.

If you use Awesome on the trailer, be aware that it will remove any wax you've applied. You need to reapply wax after using Awesome.

I wash the trailer sidewalls with Awesome, 24 oz to 2 gallons of water, prior to waxing the trailer to remove the old wax and black streaks.

I used dawn and then bar keepers friend. Just make sure to rinse well and wax right away.

I have found that if I wash trailer then wax with NU Finish car wax it removes all the black streaks then it cleaned and waxed at same time works good for me.
