I use Spic N Span. It did OK but I just had to realize my roof will never be as white as it was the day I got it. No one pays attention to the roof anyways but cleaning it help reduce the black streaks down the sides.

I also used Spic n Span. Seemed to do a fine job, but I have nothing to compare it to, as I'm new to this, and that's all I've tried.

Cheers,
Greg

I would suggest Simple Green. I found it works great and is supposedly environmentally friendly. I buy the concentrate and dilute it with water 5:1. Spray, soak for a minute then scrub, works well for me. Just be careful, I did manage to step on a vent once and broke it because I wasn't paying attention what was behind me as I scrubbed, Doh!

Has anyone tried Roof Armor by RV Tech? I know it's expensive, but wondering if it's worth it?

Mine looks like heck, but from what I've read you really don't need to clean it do you? I've had enough issues with my used TT w/o thinking I need to scrub the roof. The waterproof membrane is under the tough outer covering. I saw it when I had to replace my skylight, so I understand not needing to coat the roof with a sealer.

The reason I clean the roof 3 or 4 times a year is to help keep the sides of the TT clean. Buy the way I have had great luck with regular blue dawn dish detergent.

Anybody tried Shout laundry cleaner? PRetty PH neutral and removes red clay stains off of our dirtbikes and motocross gear. I bet spraying that down with some water and a soft brush would clean the roof right up

I just finished cleaning mine with simple green. It did a pretty good job. I use a soft bristle brush and then followed up with a sponge. **Note to self and others** Next time I need to remember to put the Stabilizers down when I'm up on the roof and moving around! I just had to be more careful when moving around. Lesson learned!
