Wow!
I just red the title of the post and was expecting something soooo different. That or you were raising chickens in your camper.

BTW, the clock in my Jayco works fine. I did have to put batteries in it, though.

Buy a new clock. That's what I did.

Got the wall type atomic clock from Amazon that uses one AA battery. Don't have to set the time, it''s always accurate and I replace the battery once a year.

I would just consider it wall art and look at my phone when I need to know the time lol. It’s never wrong.

Actually I would remove it as it would bother me having a clock that didn’t work. And doesn’t look to be worth messing with…

I think it is that way on purpose. It looks very old and in that theme, it keeps time just like a very old clock would and as reliable as a very old clock would be. ~CA

Set it for 5:00, and it will be right twice a day and always time for a beverage.

That's a good idea. I'm going to order one.

Same clock, same issue. Worked at dealership, didn't work after 1st trip. I like the idea of having the clock since all the digitals have to be set every trip. My guess is it isn't rated to bounce around in the RV.

Going to give this a shot.

Can I ask how you removed the clock? I can't see any screws for removal? Thx!!

If I remember right, there is a strip of velcro and one screw in a slot. You pull out on the bottom to separate the velcro, then slide the clock up so the screw slides out of the slot.

I dislike inaccurate clocks with a passion. I would rather a clock didn't work at all vs one that can't keep the time correctly. I have purchased and replaced the internal clock mechanism which fixed a few clocks I own, and for the others that I didn't care much for how they looked anyway, I would just throw in the trash. ~CA

Here is the perfect solution.
Keep the Jayco Clock but change it's mechanism so that it automatically keeps perfect time for each Time Zone and also handles Daylight Savings Time.
You can set all your clocks from this clock because it's always correct.
Here is how:
1. Purchase the Radio Clock Movement that fits into your existing clock off Amazon.
2. Take your wall clock off the wall and carefully disassemble it. What will remain is a circular container on the back. Trim the plastic on one side so your new mechanism will fit (see image for guide)
3. Remove the wall support plate (you won't use it), insert the new Radio Movement. You'll need to install it upside down to fit into the plastic housing (doesn't matter), next attach the two arms on the front of the clock, adjust the slider to your correct Time Zone and finally insert the battery.
Soon the arms will start moving on their own to set the proper time. Don't worry that the arms seem to rotate 24 hours before stopping at the right time. Please allow an hour or so, for it to find nearest radio signal. As we travel through different Time Zones, all I need to do is pop it off the wall and move the slider to match ET,CT,MT,PT

Radio clocks synchronized to a terrestrial time signal can usually achieve an accuracy within a hundredth of a second relative to the time standard. Radio clocks depend on coded time signals from radio stations.
