We use ceramic mugs also, and wrap them for travel. It's not a big deal and I like coffee from a mug. If one gets broken we ckean it up and get another one. I don't believe in "break proofing" a trailer any more than I do kid-proofing a house. You be care, accidents happen and you move on. JMHO.

We use corelle mugs but they are stoneware. I do pack them in a padded zip case and keep them stored with our corelle dishes. I take them out of the case and keep them out on the shelf until we are pack up to leave. We have traveled over 7K miles and never had an issue with them. I don't think I would worry about breaking them since I got them at the corelle outlet and didn't pay much for them.
When we had the PUP we used the stainless insulated coffee mugs and that worked fine for us but now we seem to prefer to use the corelle mugs.

Tervis tumblers. They work great for both hot and cold drinks, so they save space. They do a great job keeping hot drinks hot and cold drinks cold!

We have ceramic plates, mugs and bowls. Cheap and open stock at WalMart. We have a rubber, non-slip mat on the shelves. So far, we haven't had anything break.

Wow, who new coffee mugs would generate this much attention.
I guess we all need that cup of coffee before starting in on bloody marys and red beers :-)

I don't know where y'all camp, but most state CG don't allow alcohol. Well, as long as you can't see it. Thank goodness for 'Red Solo Cups!' Hehe!!

Haha, you sound like us. The DW gets the solo cups that are the same shade of the Merlot, Cab, or Shiraz that she likes.

Guess I should read and ponder more after I type. LOL. It was a figure of speech. We share the duties in our household. Been married for 39 years.

I use Tervis Tumbler glasses and mugs. They are microwave ok for up to 30 seconds, insulated, guaranteed forever, and they are plastic.

Wine (I like reds)... for me it tastes much better in a 'red wine' glass.
Beer... we both prefer ice cold in the bottle
Coffee.... I like my coffee HOT hot. If it doesn't stay hot, I can down a cup of coffee in several minutes. So the insulated stainless steel travel is what I use so my "cup of coffee" will last longer. Don likes his coffee much cooler so he uses just a regular cup that can be microwaved. We aren't big coffee drinkers anymore though

Thats very interesting, we camp almost exclusively in California at State, National and Private campgrounds. Never once have I seen a rule about alcohol nor been contacted by a ranger.
