Color change max air 2 vents

Just wanted to know if anyone has tries to paint max air vents. Last year i bought white vent covers but now think black would go better. I was thinking of seeing what type of plastic paint home depot carries and giving it a try. Any thoughts?

They have Krylon fusion paint for plastic. I used it on my ABS storage lid and plastic vent cover on my PUP still looked new after 4 yrs when we traded it in. Rustoleum makes one also.

Fusion for PlasticĀ® - | Krylon

Here is the rustoleum paint. I am sure you can buy just one can in the store.

I bought the white ones for a reason. They act as a skylight and provide good light in the daytime. If all I could have bought was black, I wouldn't have bought them.

Duplicolor has a spray "Adhesion promotor" which you spray on plastic parts first.. then spray with any color you like..

After hearing and reading many positive comments, I am looking forward to purchasing a few Maxx Air vent covers. My question to the group is in regards to which one should I purchase. Would the Maxx Air I or Maxx Air II be the better choice. Is there a difference between the two? Would spending the few extra dollars be worth the expenditure?

You can paint them. I would only paint the interior l, as it should hold up to the weather better, and it will look better.
