Pulled into LeLynn R.V. Resort in Polk City Florida on Sunday and will be here about 30 days, so Christmas and New Years. View from our front window last night.

Our go to is Fort De Soto just south of Tampa. AMAZING park, impossible to get into.

I also have enjoyed Anastasia, and Fort Clinch and many others, but Fort De Soto has been my favorite. Coming from Ontario, it's far enough south to be warm, but also very doable in 2 days driving with the trailer.

Great fishing in that area south of Tampa. At least it used to be

Lived in Clearwater area for last 20 years. Now up in the panhandle where old Fl still is. It is colder up here but beautiful and little traffic

We went to Fl to visit family no camper in tow. I noticed more campers headed south on Christmas day them I did headed south on Friday. One rig stuck out to me in particular. A newer half ton dragging a newer 5th wheel. The top of the wheel wells where almost even with the top of the rear tires because of the weight. Not sure what that guy was thinking or if he was even thinking when he bought that camper. Good thing was he was only traveling about 50- 55mph on 75.

I guess I am to young to get excited about spending xmas in Florida. Headed north in another week for a three week break in the land of lake effect snow to enjoy some downhill skiing,snowmobiling and just relaxing. I sure hope I never get to the age Florida sounds like more fun, LOL. Have fun, beach camping is the best, but only in the summer here.
