cruise control not working

Help. Changed the brake and turn signals and flasher to LED's and now the cruise control no longer works. Love the LED lights and no plan to reinstall the old hologens. Is there a work around? If not, I think I could install a hologen light on a relay that is triggered by the LED light circuit if I can determine which wire I need to use from the cruise control unit. Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated. Unit is a Class C 2000 Ford Jayco Vin #: 1FDXE45S5YHB57503

I have heard rumors of people adding resistors in the brake lite wiring, but don't remember where I saw that.
