Curt Manufacturing Custom Trailer Hitches

Don't know if this will help anyone shopping for this brand of hitch or if it's cheaper than other places, but this just came in my email from Costco.

I put a Curt hitch on my Grand Caravan for our pop-up. Absolutely loved it. I installed it myslef and it fit perfectly. Was very happy with it's quality and finish. Haven't used it since November last year but it's still hanging in there.

Put one on my Mitsubishi Outlander about a month ago. Great fit, easy install. Got mine from Autoanything.com. If you check around online you can find them pretty cheap.

I just wish I could find a front mounted hitch for my 2010 Dodge Ram diesel. I took the old one off my 07 Dodge Ram, only to find it won't fit the new body style of the 10-11 model year. I also find out that no one has manufactured one for these trucks. A welding shop told me they could fabricate one for me for 350 bucks. I told them I had already bought my truck and did not need a new one. I only want it to transport two bikes. This welding shop would not even attempt to modify my old hitch (less that a year old). When I go to the farm to pick up my 5th wheel I will see what my brother-in-law can suggest. I wanted one that I could bolt on myself.

Curt seems to make a good product but they missed the design on my front mount hitch for my E-350. As you can see in the pictures their design was off just a tad.

They seemed concerned and I spoke with an engineer on the phone after I sent them the same pictures. Their solution was on the cheap side, to send me 4 spacers; however, I had already fabbed my own before they arrived.

I bought this receiver after giving up on a Thule roof mount system on back order forever, then having Hidden Hitch ship me an empty box from California!
