Curved Roof coming up!

I have a 2016 Jayco 375 BHFS, it's 3 years old yesterday, bought it new, even waited for it out of the factory. My roof curved edges seem to be straightening out, and pushing up the staples causing little holes to develop. Anyone else seeing this issue?

As you view the pictures, the first 2 show the raised roof with the OUT-dentation, the third picture is where I cut a little square and you can see the raised staple. I put my needle nose just under it so you can see how high it is! the 4th picture is where you can see it is happening all around the edges of my camper.

If you have a curved roof, you better check it out, and if possible before your 2 year warranty is up.

I have a 2009 Greyhawk 31SS my roof edges did the same, my roof is flat. . Staples were working out of the roof edge.I had to take Eternabond tape and go around the entire roof edge.

My 377 did that but it was the first year of purchase. Jayco picked it up and to returned it back to factory and replaced the roof. They said they removed the staples and replaced with screws.

Here's an example a eternabond tape applied. I ran a piece down each side and the back perimeter of my roof shortly after I purchased my TT. I did it as a preemptive strike to water leaks (but I did not use dicor as some do along the edges of the tape).Click image for larger version

stateboy, how far down did you go with the E-bond tape on the edge? Did you cover the vinyl insert? Just curious. OP, sorry for the hijack.

It’s not an isolated issue to Jayco. It can be found on any of the other manufacturers. Eternabond is a temporary fix.

Great idea, I’m constantly checking those edges for damage from branches. The tape could cover the ripples I have from branches
and add more protection.
