Damp Rid

Anyone ever try Damp Rid to keep the moisture down? I don't want to buy it if it doesn't work.

I use the product all the time when I store my TT for the winter, and yes it works. As a matter of fact I just refilled mine earlier this week..., had a mixture of ice/water in the plastic container.

Been using it for years for winter storage and in the TT closet where we store our linens in the summer, works great.

I keep one in the bathroom and one under the kitchen sink (where the wheel wells are). During the winter I get some condensation when the warm moist air in the trailer hits the uninsulated plastic wheel wells. Damp Rid works well.

Depends on the moisture. Make sure it does not get turned over. I stopped using it years ago and bought a dehumidifier. I remove it when we go on a trip.

Heck, we would buy the big bucket one that has the vented lid and just leave it in the unit all winter. We had a little water leak prior and that kept the moisture at bay...

Great thanks for the input. I will be off grid so electric is not an option. I had moisture issues with my old rig and I would like to avoid them this time around.
