The only way I would live up north is to head south for the winter.

Tim, be glad you don't live here anymore. We have sub zero lows and single digit highs coming this week.

Thanks for letting me vent and yeah, I've had enough of winter.
We fled Green Bay December 7th to come down here to the Texas Gulf Coast. Today it was cold here at 60 degrees so we put on our jackets. We cannot handle the Wisconsin Winters anymore even though we have lived there most of our lives. It is leave for the winter or freeze to death there in our beds so we chose to come down here for the last five Winters. Hope you can do that as well someday.

That's awesome that you have had it since new! It's a fun truck to drive and gets lots of looks (some admiring and some seem to say "what the hell is that?").

Actually drive that every day to work (4x4, 392, 5 spd w/od-yes, loves gas) even though Trav is much nicer to drive. 1210 has tool box since still do occasional service calls. Trav is the "limo".

all internationals love gas. its part of the reason they dont make them anymore and there slowly fading away. takes forever to warm up all that space inside inside when its freezing outside. couldnt afford to drive one mine to work.all i ever used it for was to go camping and have an always start no matter what emergency vehicle. it performs its job very very well.

Yes, great trucks and in many ways ahead of their time, but lack of dealer network compared to Ford and GM plus the internal fight for R&D $$s was their demise.
