dash cam

I've been searching around the forum and haven't found it but maybe I just didn't go far enough. Used search mode and came up with nothing.
Surely some of you guys out there are using dash cams. Looking for recommendations s I've never owned one. Thanks in advance

I have a Rexing camera in my Seneca. It is wired to power and comes on whenever key is on. It also has HDMI output which I connected to the HDMI input on my dash's Clarion head unit. Easy to play back incidents on the 7" screen instead of the tiny screen on the camera! Has a micro-SD memory card and I carry another in case I ever need/want to remove it for evidentiary purposes.

I have a Kdlinks X1. Highly reviewed on Amazon. I don't recommend it. I have never been able to have it store clips correctly when I want to save them. Picture is great, sound is great, just doesn't function the way it should with the G sensor.

I use the Rand Mcnally 70. It has a great dash cam, a RV GPS that you can enter your height, weight and length. I purchased this one because it also has a outlet to hook up rear camera. However it does not have voice commands. If not for the rear cam hook up I would have went with the Garmin with voice commands.

I also have the Rexing and I have hardwired my Jeep, Seneca and Pickup and have mounts on the windshield and rotate it between vehicles. First night using it in the Jeep I caught clipping a deer with the front bumper on camera.

I am using this app on my android cell phone, mount it at the top of the windshield and run power to it above the visor. Works great AND its free. I can live with the small ads.

Smart Dash Cam app, a product of ipcamsoft.com.

I use a dash cam similar to this one in my van.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B073WFJ7HV...d_i=B073WFJ7HV

I already have a back up camera so I mounted the extra cam to the side mirror for my blind spot. Works great but some of the features could be better.

I use a Polaroid dashcam our Daughter gave us for Xmas. It 's not real expensive and the recorded video is pretty good.

I have a Garmin 55, has voice command. Small and works really well. They say a picture says a thousand words.
