Hi All -
Setup:
Jayco 5th 357MDOK
I have the Go Power Overlander Solar package (190w panel, 30 amp PWM charge controller) and the Power Dynamics PD4560wi converter. I have 2 6v 115ah deep cycle flooded batteries, wired in series that are less than a year old. Water levels have been properly maintained over time. Connected to shore power.
Gremlins
I'm having some strange battery voltage and temperature sensor number fluctuation. I have 2 temp senors, one in the living area and one in the master bedroom. For the most part everything works as expected however on occasion (still trying to find a pattern) the battery voltage will fluctuate rapidly like so 13.8 -> 14.4 -> 13.6 -> 14.2 and with the battery fluctuation the temp sensor goes 64 -> 68 -> 62 -> 65
This is causing the heat or air condition to cycle on and off per the temp sensor reading.

This seems to occur mostly when the sun first hits the solar panel on the roof and will last for several hours then it will stop late in the afternoon and return to normal through the night.
I am connected to shore power and have not tried disconnecting from shore power to see if the behavior is the same.
The solar controller is connected to the battery side of the battery disconnect and not directly to the battery. I'm not sure if this matters or not but the fluctuation seems to mimic some sort of pulsing from the solar charge controller.
Could it be the batteries? Could it be the the solar controller needs to be wired directly to the battery bank instead of the disconnect bus on the battery side (it came this way from the dealer/Jayco)?
Thoughts and ideas of how to find the root cause and remedy are much appreciated.
