Denver rv show

Jayco was terribly under-represented in last week's Colorado RV Adventure Travel Show at the Colorado Convention Center. The local dealer apparently didn't plan on attending until late in the game, so their slot was on a wall in the rear of the hall. They brought Jay Flights, I believe they were, aluminum sided, no Eagles, and no 5ers. It was quite disappointing. Brands I never heard of were well represented. I was told the bad weather was a concern. Seems to me that weather wasn't centered over the Jayco dealer. I apologize if this is overly negative, but we drove 125 miles and invited friends to join us, hoping to get a look at, if not our model, something close to an upscale tt. Instead. we enjoyed looking at other brands' 5ers. As an aside, we didn't find any longer or higher end tt's, but a ton of fifth wheels. Guess that says something about the market generally. And I'm not putting down Jay Flights. They are a big step up in comfort and convenience from what we just sold. If we had had one of them, we probably would have kept it a long time. But now we're looking forward to spoiling ourselves a bit.

CONTACT Jayco and let them know what you just said! They need to hear this stuff from owners that are looking for Jayco opportunities! Put it in their court to encourage their local dealers! Ummmm perhaps you could make sure you ask for corporate rather than issue your complaints with the poor souls that answer the phone

Unhappy Contact Corporate

I bumped into a Jayco rep on leaving the event. He seemed to be aware of the weak showing but understandably could do little more than be understanding. My father was in a similar position with RCA in the early days of television, and he would have seen to it the problem would not be repeated. This guy is probably the guy at Jayco who can actually do something about it. Before meeting him I had told the dealer's reps I intended to contact Jayco, but meeting this fellow changed my mind. Still, your point is well taken, and I'll try to find someone at corporate who cares. BTW, this is a very large dealership.
