departure check-list

I've read some requests for a check-list for departure and other reminders. The attached offers free lists specifically for RV's.

I've used RV checklist as well. But lately I've been enjoying playing what did I forget THIS trip?

Maybe I need to go back to a list.

I downloaded and app called Checklist+ from the app store. Very easy and intuitive to use. Created my own lists over time for both arrival and departure and they work well.

Just this weekend we moved the RV for the first time in 3 months after hiding out from Covid 19 in a remote corner of Alabama. We were joking that we would not remember how to hook up and go. With the checklist, it was one of our smoother relocations.

I use RV Companion which allows you to create a bunch of different lists for various things as well as keep track of the campsite, expenses, etc.

I'm a shameless geek, and the Lady From Little Rock is an organising guru, so we have apps and lists for all sorts of things, including shopping/provisioning, loading and so on but...

When I'm scrambling around to do the pre-road prep, I really don't want to have to be checking my phone or tablet every few minutes. So, I carry my list in my head. So far, I haven't missed anything important, but I suppose, as age creeps up on me ..:-)

I still like the "reminder" notice, supposedly erected at the exit to at least one CG:

Final Check:

Water Hose?
Sewer Hose?
Power Cord?
Wife?

I have to be careful; more than half the time it’s my wife driving...
