No way here southern Indiana, overnight lows still too cold. Last year I think it was the second week of April before we did it. This year it could be the second week of June the way this is going!

De-winterized and camped last weekend... it was nice to get out and about with a campfire by the lake!

This weekend is first time out. SO EXCITED. Just heading down down the road to a state park with full hook-ups so we can flush all pipes and refresh. First real outing will be in April to Christmas Valley (ironic huh) with a group outing of 4 wheelers, dunes, 8 rigs and 40 friends.

De-winterized it on Thursday. Went camping over the weekend and re-winterized it on Sunday. Our next trip isn't until the end of April and they are predicting a cold April here. I will also be out of town for almost a week and I don't want to worry about things freezing while I'm gone. At least we got to get out for our first trip of the season.

I'm in...bleach solution is soaking overnight and a good flush coming tomorrow...10 days to camping. Still by no means a spring yet, but I am think I am out of the woods on below freezing for long periods. Think I will blow it out just to be safe the way this year has gone.

i did the boat yesterday, got the batteries in ran the engine cleaned her up, at least i can drain the water out of the motor incase it does get cold, but it was just too nice of a day here yesterday to waste it even washed all the salt off the 5th, but now back to the kitchen so it is done when the weather is nice

i will probably do the trailer when we go camping at the end of the month, we just plan on doing a 1 night thing down the road as a shakedown because we haven't had a chance to sleep in it yet

got the first pic of my babies together, i cant wait for summer

Cover is off low point drains are pulled running some water thru the system tomorrow to get the antifreeze out. I am going to pick up some caulk to do a few areas around my downspouts that look a little sketchy just to be safe.

carey965. Good looking toys. Did the boat thing too, but last time I checked
BOAT stands for Break Out Another Thousand! So got rid of the boat and the motorcycles.

oh i know that, bought it last year and sunk in about a grand last year (mostly my own stupidity)

thats the reason i got the 5th with a hitch so i can bring the boat, even tho the wife absolutely hates it, it is not going anywhere, some of the best memories i have as a kid are on my dads boat so it is something that i want to do with my son

that and i love to ski, gotta be able to do it in the summer

That is a nice hole in the water. We had the exact same Tahoe model a few years back. Picked it up off a consignment lot for a song, cleaned it up, tuned the motor and she was a GREAT boat. Both DW and I have a stack of memories made on boats, now we're working on growing that stack with RV memories!

I found the boat a lot easier to winterize; pull the plugs on the water jackets, yank the battery and you're GTG!

tahoe doesnt have the best name but i lucked out, the dealer even did a full top to bottom inspection on it no rot no issues just a couple small things that needed to be done nothing was needed to make it water worthy tho

anyways sorry for getting off topic

Dewinterized last Saturday when I brought it home. Still gets below freezing at night but I keep the PUP in the garage so it is protected. Going camping at the end of the month!

Well I will answer my own thread. Dewinterizing as I type this. System flushed and now soaking in bleach water. Pump holding pressure so no apparent leaks. Water heater, furnace, stove, and frig all fired up on propane. Awning unfurled and drying, it will need cleaning. Now I have to check the roof and clean it another day...
