We are at the CG now and dewinterized when we arrived Friday. The CG opened for the season on 01 April and it dropped down to 30 last night but we (and the TT plumbing) survived.

It's in the 70s here in N. CA this week so we got ready to roll and are headed to Calavaras Big Trees SP area this weekend! We definitely have the fever and are excited to take the first trip in our new home away from home . Just a wee-bit nervous...

We have not taken the antifreeze out yet..it snowed here 2 days ago. Nights are around 20 still, days are in the 40-50's. We are using it next week for spring break, in our yard, maybe without water. First trip, mothers day weekend when the campgrounds open around here. I am getting antsy!

Don't feel too bad, I winterized mine 3 times last fall! My dad gave me all kinds of crap; "so how many times have you winterized now?". Smart alack! Hey, at least I was out camping!

Unhappy

No dewinterizing here, they are saying it is going down to a record low of - 18 Celcius. Yes, you read right, minus 18, Breaking a record from 1893.

Will this winter never end???

De-winterized this weekend while 65 degrees out in NH. I here it's going to snow up there this week. Good thing I disconnected and drained all my lines before I left. No pink stuff but we should be fine!

We bought a new 2014 338 rlts the first of the year which we left winterized from the factory. I de-winterized it a month ago. What a job! I will never use the rv antifreeze method! Blowing out the lines with a compressor set on 20 - 30 lbs is way better and much faster plus there is nothing to do except sanitize the following Spring. I do pour rv antifreeze down the drains however, but here again nothing to do the next Spring.

De-winterized our new 2014 yesterday and I thought it was easy. I ran fresh water through the lines/all faucets for a few minutes. Then took a mixture of bleach and water in a bucket and let the pump suck it through the house under the kitchen sink. Same house u suck the rv antifreeze in to winterize. Let it sit for about an hour or so and then ran fresh water through all the lines/faucets again.
