Digital Thermostat

This is the current thermostat in my trailer. Is there a digital version which might be more appropriate? Thanks,

Jim

I replaced my old analog thermostat with the Coleman 8330-3862 5 years ago. Continues to work perfectly. When I bought it the cost was only $56. It has gone way up in price for some reason.

I also replaced the bedroom AC only controller with a different version of this thermostat.

I had the same analog T-stat as you and replaced it with the digital one Grumpy provided a link to. Took about 5 minutes. And I agree with JimD, the price has gone way up since I got ours too.

I had the same question. Thank you Grumpy for the link.

If it's good enough for JimD and wiscampsin, it's good enough for me.

You're right about the price; you would have gotten two for what I will pay for one.

I did the swap to the same one Grumpy linked to in 2019. Cost was $59. I do recall during my research on a replacement that I came across a couple of different places that were noting the 8330-3862 was being discontinued and referenced that the replacement was Coleman Mach 9430A3382 Digital Heat/Cool RV Air Conditioner Thermostat - 12V - Black. I opted for the 8330-3862 as not only was it a direct wire for wire replacement but the dimensions and mounting holes were also identical to the analog one. The replacement is narrower - and also about 1/2 the cost of the 8330-3862 today.
