Dimmer switches

I have an 2018 eagle 5th wheel, I can’t get the dimmer switches to dim, only on and off? I have a hunch I’m not using them properly. Any suggestions?

Press and hold your finger on the switch. The light should start dimming or getting brighter. Touching it quickly just turns it off and on.

Are your lights LED and what type of dimmer are you using?

Does it have that little blue light like the one we have for the lights over the bed that shine right in your eyes at night while you are trying to sleep? If it is, then it works just like TWP723 says.
