You may not have a disconnect switch, many do not come with them. Mine did not so I installed one. But to get around that for now just disconnect one of the terminals from the battery. 30 amp to 15 amp adapters are readily available, I use one here at home.

Probably not but they might. Our forum sponsor has them:

If you need it right now Walmart usually has them in their RV section.

I've never seen them at Home Depot or Lowes, but you can always find them at Walmart

The RV30A-15A "dogbone" 18-ich long type adapter looks similar to this one from WALMART

DO NOT get the small black round adapters as they will start getting hot on you after a few time being used...

Since your trailer is an older trailer and most likely does not have a smart mode technology converter/charger installed I would always check the battery fluids at least once a month to make sure they are not boiling out fluids. Using 13.6VDC constantly on the batteries for a long time may start boiling out the fluids. It is ok to use the single mode converter/chargers but you have to keep a constant check on the battery fluids and keep them topped off.

Having a BATTERY DISCONNECT is a great idea. many are available everywhere... Here is a link to GOGGLE IMAGES showing the many battery disconnect switches available. Click on the one that catches your eye.
This one is very popular amoung the RV'ers... Folks like to install this model in the side of the battery box to keep the "HOT" terminals away from things...

Pulling the fuse is an easy way to stop the parasitic drain on the battery. I did that until about 25 batteries were stolen at my storage lot. Mine didn't get taken but I pnow have wing-nuts on the terminals and remove it while it's stored.

You can also pick up a thumbwheel battery disconnect at your local auto parts store for around $5. To install this type, you just disconnect one cable from the battery, replace it with the thumbwheel disconnect, and reinstall the cable onto the disconnect. Takes about 2 minutes with a 1/2 inch wrench, no electrical skills needed. Then all you do is unscrew the thumbwheel a couple of turns to disconnect, and tighten the thumbwheel to reconnect.
