Until I read this thread, I never knew watching children run and play in and around my camp site was “disgusting”.

Just saw this today! We left our campsite and headed to the dump area. As we approached the dump area there was a TT there and we knew we would be next. As we approached closer, we saw the TT dumping their fluids in the general area of the drain without any connections. As we got closer, the driver jumped into the truck and sped off with TT in tow, cap dangling and spewing whatever in large amounts on the road as he sped off. He spread away so fast that we couldn't get a tag number or make of TT to notify the ranger. As we approached the dump area, we noticed toilet tissue and other stuff everywhere. We avoided the area as much as possible and found an alternative dump station. Why do people do that? I don't get it!

Stupid is as stupid does!
I suppose it's better than him dumping in a storm sewer on his way home.

Sort of ironic that theres currently an active post titled "campground host hall of shame" Campground Hosts / Managers experience this stuff 7 days a week. So many campers believe they paid for ownership of the grounds and don't understand they're a guest.

Or dumping in his site before he pulled out.

Not disgusting but inconsiderate!
As we were getting ready to pack up and leave our county park campsite, we noticed that the camper next to us left a smoldering fire in the fire ring that was sending smoke our way. I took a bucket of water to extinguish it and saw that the fire was still burning with visible flames. Not too smart. And inconsiderate. On several occasions, we were camping on a hot summer’s day when our neighbors had lit a fire only to leave it smoldering so the smoke would drift into our MH. No one was sitting at the fire or paying attention to it. It served no purpose other than to create smoke. If people want a robust fire, I have no issues. But to leave a fire to just putter along is inconsiderate to other campers nearby.

I reported him and he was evicted. The fire dept was called to wash the whole area off.

Well we have been camping here in Hiawassee for a week and I can say that I have not seen anything that was mentioned here yet.
It's been a pleasant experience.
