Ya, I don't disagree with you on this one. That's a pretty egregious infraction.

I understand it's sometimes difficult to confront someone about stuff like this, but perhaps try to put a positive spin on it? Say something like "hey buddy, I see you're having a little trouble lining up your camper. Since the spaces are a bit tight, why not let me help you out?" If they decline and still park their camper over your site, call CG office and complain.

Some people complain when they go to a campground that requires a site escort by CG staff, but that situation is EXACTLY why they do it. Well, that and they don't want their landscaping destroyed... It might be a little annoying for those of us who are well-seasoned, but the CG doesn't know how well you know what you're doing. So if they just escort EVERYONE, they don't have to worry about it.

This evening, we are headed to a campground that does this very thing. Even though we have been to this place many times before, they escort every unit to their site and help them back in.

On a side note, I always give a little tip to the campground worker that escorts us to the site. Generally $5 or so. I think it is a great way to let those people know that you appreciate their help and it pays dividends over the course of your stay.

Agreed!

I might start doing that! I bet those guys never get tipped. But most of them have been VERY helpful spotting my rig on the site so me and DW don't have to argue about it! LOL! That alone is worth every bit of five bucks!

Hey, maybe there’s a gig opportunity here — guiding campers into their spots for tips! Call it camper caddy

I'm sure that yellow and black tape would give them the idea not to walk through your camp site then you have to look at it the whole time. Not sure which is worse
