Does anyone use "Dyrt.Com" for campsites?

https://thedyrt.com/

A friend of mine recently told me there is a website called thedyrt.com for booking campsites. They are retired and travel the U.S.

They are using the "Free" version, but there is a $40.00 / year version.

We are wondering if the $40.00 / year version is worth the cost.

1) What do you get for $40.00 / year that you do not get for the free version?

2) Is it really worth the money?

3) Do you have "priority" with the paid version for reserving campsites?

Any info will be helpful..

It doesn't appear that there is any way to actually book a site through thedyrt.com, it just seems like a collection of campgrounds and reviews.

The Pro version only seems to give you an offline app so you can find campgrounds when you don't have internet access, discounts on participating campgrounds, and discounts at camping and gear retailers.

It could be worth it if the campgrounds you like to camp at offer a discount to pro members. Here's a list of participating campgrounds.

Edited to add: there is no mention of priority access to sites for members. The only thing I found regarding reservations is "Save 40% on your first night (Sun-Thurs, 2-night minimum, holidays excluded), and 10% off all other nights at campgrounds offering the Premium Discount."

No do not use. Why pay for the right to book sites? Looks like a looser to me. Safe travels

Enjoy the journey

Thanks to all for your replies. I do not use it, my friend who travels the U.S. is the one who told me about it.

It does not sound like the "Paid" app is worth the money. If the free version helps you locate campsites, why pay $40.00 / year for what does not help you or give you any discounts/priority for reservations.
