Dometic A/C with CT thermostat

Just had the craziest experience with my AC. We have a 2019 Jay Flight 25RBS. The first year out, the AC went out and they had to replace via warranty. Took last year off but when we went out this year, the thermostat would go crazy and start moving up on temp and even turning on the furnace without any input. Changed the thermostat out. Worked for a day, Changed the control box out. Worked for a day. Changed both out AGAIN and it worked for less than a day. After all this, found out that an old flat screen TV (10+ years old) that I mounted in the cabinet next to the thermostat was actually the problem. FINALLY realized that as soon as the TV turned on, the thermostat went crazy. Switched back and forth from F to C. Set at 75 deg, would run up to 90 deg and sit there. As soon as I moved the TV, the problem stopped. Of course, that is after I have spent over $300 on thermostats and control boxes... Be careful of these old electronics! The Dometic thermostats are affected by them. Probably an older power supply in the TV without SS shielding.
