What's with this junk thermostat
Turn on furnace and air-conditioning comes on can't get just furnaces

What rig? Some of them were programmed for the a/c fan to come on to help circulate the heat when the furnace was on. Hopefully someone who had the problem will chime in.

Best upgrade I’ve made is getting rid of that cheap Dometic thermostat. Went with the Micro Air Wi-Fi and love it so far.

I've found that you have to have the fan set to Auto. If it's on High or Low, the AC fan will run when the furnace comes on.
