Dometic Thermostat Not Working

We replaced the original dometic thermostat with a new one. Which wouldn't work. So we reconnected the original dometic thermostat and now it won't work either. We just keep getting "error 1". We have reset it a couple times, disconnected from electric and reconnected, and still the same issue. We have a 2018 Jayco 212qb travel trailer. The thermostat is digital. I've attached a picture of it (pic from Amazon, not from trailer). Any help is greatly appreciated as we have an out of town guest soon and the A/C will be needed. Thanks much!

Hmmmm. I always thought it meant not enough power to the thermostat, like a breaker or something. Bad connection?

With cover off try to get it working by pressing the switch. Don't press hard. If tht don't work just put the cover back on very lightly and press the switches. Ours did not work right and found out that if I pressed to hard that would screw up everything.
